Nostalgia has ruled tonight! My friend Per invited me to the Saga concert in Amager Bio. I cannot claim to know any of thier music, but I am always up for live music!
Saga is a band from Toronto, as far as I know they are from the late 70’s, they had most succes in Europe compared to their succes in NA.
Their style of music is often compared to Styx and Yes which are band that I have heard of and kind of know.
Anyways, it was greate fun to listen to the music and to experience the audience - not exactly the same people that are usually at the concerts I go to.
It is amazing to see that none of the guys in the band has left the 1980’s (isn’t there a law against perming guys hair?). We were totally brought back to the 80’s with this music, and they played for almost two hours. We could have done with half of that, but it really was fun.
