Went to the Dear concert in Vega last night, didn’t know the band very well, and the main reason for going was that it is always fun to go to concerts, it was in Vega, it was on a Saturday, and my friend Malene wanted to go too. So off we went.
The guy who has the band is called Laust Sonne, and he plays drums in D.A.D. as well. But this music is rock music with a twist of rockabilly to it - definitly very different from D.A.D.
It was a really good and danceble concert, I might just have to get hold of their new album (you can actually listen to the album on the website).

New career for me, hooray!

Last night it was confirmed, that I have got a new job in the informatics department at H:S! It is fantastic, and I really cannot wait to start. The job will be a wonderful challenge!
I will be working within the domain of it architecture with communication assignments, knowledge organization, information architecture, and the like. It is interesting projects they are working with, so I am looking forward to getting into it, and to learn many new things. I know a little about them from my present job, and from friends but it will be very nice to actually dig deeper into the different aspects of it all.
My new colleagues seem to be very nice, very competent, and nerdy - but I happen to like and respect nerds a lot so that just makes it even more cool to have gotten the job! Nerds are fun, interesting, and clever people.
H:S is placed next door from where I work now, so I will primarily be working in central Copenhagen, which is nice. And with this new job - it will be a pleasure to float through the busy streets of Copenhagen on my bike every morning!

EastEnders

Well I guess I have to admit, that that I am a sad cow because one of my favorite tv shows is EastEnders. It is possible to watch the show from BBC Prime.
The show started out 20 years ago, in 1985. I have been following the show since the fall of 1996 - God I am a sad person, but apparently I cannot help it, so no need to be ashamed about it.
The show was shown on Danish tv a few years ago, but it never really was succesful in Denmark. I don’t quite get why the Danish Radio (which distribute the national television as well) bought really old episodes. Either you buy the show from episode one or the very up to date episodes!
Never the less, the show was shown early afternoon which made it impossible as well to watch it. What a luck I had seen the episodes anyways (-:
Story line
Most of the action takes place around Albert Square and the Queen Vic, which is a the pub ( the red square in the middle)
It is pretty amazing how many terrible things that happens in Albert Square; Murder, kidnapping, drug addiction, robbery, homeless people, weddings, seperations and divorces, prostitution, assults and so on. But hey, I am still watching it - sad sad me! I even recieve the newsletter from the show.
Characters
I miss some of the characters that has been in the show some years ago. When I just started whatching the show Tiffany, Grant, Simon, Cindy, Bianca, Tony, Phill and the like was on the show…that was good times. But I really do miss Grant and Phill, the Jacksons, and Anthony and Paul Trueman, Mel, and many many more. My favorits has through the years very often been the cheeky and disobedient ones.

The show is on Monday to Thursday at 19:30, and then the omnibus is on in the afternoon on Sundays. Unless you already know the show, I actually doubt you will like it.

My penpal Sune

Sune Wagner has over a week in the begining of August had a service for his fans. They could ask him a question a day, and he would ask a question back at you. I would like to believe that is was only me he had asked, but it was not.
Anyways I took advantage of this service to the full. I will show you my questions and his answers.
Day one

A: Maybe.

A: On the side.

A: Don’t have the time right now.
Q: When you haven’t been in Denmark for a long time, who do you miss the most?
A: The City.

A: Better.

A: In the side.

A: No.

Day three
My question for Sune was very simple:

A: I don’t remember *lol*
Sune wrote out on their website, that he was not able to ask questions back at people because the amount of questions he got. There were a massive delay on answers also because of the amout of emails, so the above were the answers I got from him. Anyways, it has been a lot of fun to have had the opportunity to ask question and to get answers.
