My experience as painter

Part 1
Sunday I had my first experience putting up gauze/wallpaper in my flat. I will leave out here why I have to do it myself and not a professional person as it would take close to ten days to explain it.
Anyways, Malene helped me doing it. For some reason we have found out, that we work very well together, but we figured that it was probably a good thing that we weren’t a married couple , as activities like this can be the reason for a divorce.
So we have been asking around how to do this gauze thing, and we thought we had understood the method enough to actually do it ourselvs. And we sure had!!! It looks ever so beautiful and we found it really easy to put up. We were cool girls yesterday, and we had a lot of fun!
Part 2
Yesterday my sister came to my place to help me do the ceiling with gauze, and then some other areas that needed to be fixed with gauze as well. It went really good, and my flat looks so nice now. You can hardly see that someone else has messed it up before we came along!
It was hard work yesterday though it was actually easier that expected to do the ceiling. The walls came out beautifully as well. I cannot wait to get started with the painting!

New career for me, hooray!

Last night it was confirmed, that I have got a new job in the informatics department at H:S! It is fantastic, and I really cannot wait to start. The job will be a wonderful challenge!
I will be working within the domain of it architecture with communication assignments, knowledge organization, information architecture, and the like. It is interesting projects they are working with, so I am looking forward to getting into it, and to learn many new things. I know a little about them from my present job, and from friends but it will be very nice to actually dig deeper into the different aspects of it all.
My new colleagues seem to be very nice, very competent, and nerdy - but I happen to like and respect nerds a lot so that just makes it even more cool to have gotten the job! Nerds are fun, interesting, and clever people.
H:S is placed next door from where I work now, so I will primarily be working in central Copenhagen, which is nice. And with this new job - it will be a pleasure to float through the busy streets of Copenhagen on my bike every morning!

What is so fantastic about Firefox?

I was convinced some time ago about quitting my Internet Explorer in favour of Mozilla’s Firefox as my default browser. I have been very pleased with the services and possibilities in Firefox since I started using it. Up until today! I was cruising around on the Internet, not doing anything unusually from what I normally do, and not visiting pages I don’t usually do either. A little later on I needed another browser open, as one sometimes do, so I did what I usually do - clicked on the firefox icon in the bar - and swuuush…all my settings, pass words, my Sage, and preferences were gone! Please tell me what that is all about! That is just not okey at all!
So now I have gone back to Internet Explorer, which I have never had any problems with. So today I will spend much time trying to remember all my “new” preferences and passwords from Firefox and put them into Explorer. What a waste of my time!
[August 15th. Problem solved; Something had changed in the profile settings, I have changed it back - but I haven’t started trusting Firefox just yet!]

Skype

I have only recently started to use Skype, which is an IP telephone program. It is free of charge and can be downloaded here
It only takes a few minutes, and you can take my word for it, cause I am pretty helpless with most things like that.
For many people it is old news, but I am really fascinated by this possibility that Skype gives as it is so easy to use. Messenger is easy as well, but the sound is not at all as good as on Skype and the program is very often not possible to use.
